The 2014 BMW M5 is a high-performance variant of the midsize BMW 5 Series luxury sedan that comes with an aggressive styling cue that differentiate the M5 from the regular 5 Series. The new M5 is the combination of the power of a supercar and the convenience of a four-door five-seat family sedan. The BMW M5 competes with the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, Audi S6, Jaguar XFR and Cadillac CTS-V.
The 2014 BMW M5 comes standard with 19-inch alloy wheels, adaptive suspension dampers, adaptive xenon headlights, front and rear parking sensor, a sunroof, auto-dimming mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control, leather upholstery, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering column, heated front seats with memory settings, 16-way power front seats, a navigation system, voice commands, iDrive electronics interface, a rearview camera, Bluetooth connectivity and a 12-speaker audio system with a 6-CD changer and an USB/iPod interface. A lot of other features are available as options, independently or grouped in packages.
The Competition Package adds 20″ light alloy Double Spoke wheels with performance tires. The Executive package adds 4-zone automatic climate control, front ventilated seats, soft-close automatic doors, power tailgate, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel and power rear sunshade with manual rear side window shades. Lighting package adds adaptive Full LED lights and automatic high beams. Driver Assistance Plus package adds side and top view cameras, Speed limit info and Active Blind Spot Detection. Also available as options are a rear-seat entertainment system and a Bang&Olufsen sound system.

The 2014 Chevrolet SS sedan is an all-new model and also is the first rear-wheel-drive sedan offered by Chevrolet in 17 years. This sports sedan competes with Ford Taurus SHO, Chrysler 300C SRT8, Hyundai Genesis and Dodge Charger SRT8. The new SS shares its platform (named Zeta) with the Australian-built rear-drive Holden Commodore and it is a refined and more aggressively version of the Chevrolet Caprice PPV (Police Pursuit Vehicle) that is sold for police fleets.
This muscle-car is powered by a 415-horsepower, 6.2-liter V8 engine (same engine from the Camaro) that generates 384 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission with shift paddles mounted behind the steering wheel. Chevrolet estimates the SS sedan accelerates from zero to 60 mph in five seconds.
The all-new 2014 Chevrolet SS sedan comes standard with a performance-tuned electric power steering, Brembo brakes, 19-inch five-spoke aluminum wheels, aluminum hood and rear trunk lid, foglights, LED running lamps, high-intensity discharge headlights, leather upholstery, blue ambient lighting, eight-way adjustable front seats, a 4.2-inch touchscreen multimedia system, a navigation system, the Chevrolet’s MyLink Infotainment System, Bluetooth connectivity and a 9-speaker Bose sound system.
