2014 Dodge Durango
The 2014 Durango is the Dodge’s largest SUV that comes now with a revised rear and front styling, an updatet interior styling with a new three-spoke steering wheel and a 8.4-inch touchscreen display and also a new eight-speed automatic transmission. The 2014 Dodge Durango is a three-row unibody large SUV that shares its platform with Jeep Grand Cherokee, and comes with a powerful engine, high-quality interior materials, generous towing capacity and three-row of seats that can be configurated in a wide variety of ways.
The 2014 Dodge Durango comes with seats for seven and it is available in five trim levels: SXT, SXT Plus, Limited, R/T and Citadel. The 2014 Durango SXT comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, foglights, automatic headlights, heated mirrors, roof rails, cruise control, full power accessories, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, tri-zone automatic climate control, cloth upholstery, a 60/40-split-folding and reclining second-row seat, a 50/50-split-folding third-row seat, Bluetooth connectivity and a 6-speaker audio system with touchscreen and USB inputs. The SXT Plus adds leather-wrapped steering wheel and unique interior design elements.
The Rallye package adds 20-inch wheels, polished exhaust tips and additional body-color exterior trim. A roof rail, an eight-way power driver seat, heated front seats, parking sensors and a rearview camera are all available as options.
The 2014 Dodge Durango Limited has the above equipment and adds a remote ignition driver memory settings, leather upholstery, a 115-volt power outlet and an upgraded version of Dodge’s Uconnect system with voice control, emergency roadside assistance and Wi-Fi capability. The R/T adds 20-inch alluminum wheels, xenon headlights, a sport-tuned suspension, a power liftgate and 9-speaker sound system.
The Citadel model adds automatic wipers, a sunroof, automatic high-beam control, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel and an upgraded navigation system. The adaptive cruise control, the blind-spot warning system and a rear-seat DVD entertainment system are available for R/T, Limited and Citadel as options.
The 2014 Dodge Durango SXT, SXT Plus, Limited and Citadel come standard with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 290 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. The R/T model comes with a 5.7-liter V8 engine that produces 360 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque. The 8-speed automatic transmission is standard for all models. The rear-wheel drive and the all-wheel drive are available, depending on the model.
